First Impressions - H&M Colour Essence Eye Pencil

Hey lovelies!

So I recently went into my local H&M and as I was having a browse I stumbled across their Beauty section. I've never really bothered looking in the beauty sections of shops who I mainly go into for clothing as for some reason I wouldn't have thought they would be any good quality wise. I'm glad to say that H&M Beauty has completely changed my opinion on this.

As I was swatching some of the products onto the back of my hand the first thing I noticed was how pigmented all of the products were, I spent a good 20 minutes trying to decide what I was going to buy and I ended up buying three of their Colour Essence Eye Pencils.

The colours I decided to get where 'Over the Taupe' , 'Wildlife' and 'Copper Bullion' (which I couldn't actually find on the website to link sorry!)  'Over the Taupe' is a lovely metallic taupe colour with hints of silver sparkle running through,  'Wildlife' is a stunning metallic Khaki colour with gold sparkle running through and  'Copper Bullion' is a gorgeous copper metallic copper colour with subtle silver sparkle running through. As I was looking through the products and swatching them in store they had a lot more lovely shades to choose from I chose these three as I thought I could create very different looks with these colours.

After testing these liners out I have found that they are extremely pigmented, the colour you see in the nib is the colour payoff you will get on the skin. These liners are great not only to use as a liner but also as a base for underneath other eyeshadows, the only thing is you have to blend it out quite quickly as once its dry it will not budge at all which is a good thing for the longevity of your makeup but also means you don't have much time to play with the product.

Overall I think these eyeliners are great especially for how cheap they are! Great colours, great pigmentation and great longevity. I can't wait to try more of the H&M Beauty range!
